Construction sites closed to combat the Coronavirus
On March 17, 2020, the government took additional measures to limit the spread of the Corona virus. We and our contractors respect these measures. The health of our people is paramount. Phase 3 of the work on the R22 would start in April. The redevelopment of the Sint-Annalaan was planned to start at the end of March.
To preserve the safety of our people, the works on Woluwedal (R22), Sint-Annalaan and Kanaalroute Noord (F23) have been temporarily put down.
The government meanwhile calls for as many active road works as possible during this period. We will ensure a gradual restart in consultation with the minister. Of course, we hereby ensure that measures with regard to social distancing and hygiene are always respected.
For example, the works at the Albert I Laan and Koning Boudewijnlaan intersection were restarted on 31 March.
