Successful first congress 'Are you future-proof?'

On Tuesday 18 September, De Werkvennootschap in Brussels held the conference entitled 'Are you future-proof?' for the first time. 120 participants were inspired by experts and businesses who have taken their first steps towards improved mobility. The day ended with a mobility market, which allowed companies to get to know innovative mobility providers.

The areas of logistics transport and work/home traffic were comprehensively covered. Presentations by organisations such as Transport en Logistiek Vlaanderen and Multimodaal.Vlaanderen provided explanations of the challenges and solutions within the logistics sector. Colruyt and Remitrans offered their vision of future mobility in the transport world.

After a presentation by Via Mobile, employers such as North Sea Port, Octa+, Deloitte and University Hospital Brussels talked about the challenges that they are facing in order to improve the mobility of their employees.

The New Mobility Network

The conference also signalled the start of The New Mobility Network. This is a newly created network which supports businesses in their efforts, together with their employees, to create improved employee traffic and goods transport. It's worth noting that the most commonly used word during the conference was 'together'. With the launch of this network, De Werkvennootschap hopes to enable the various parties to find inspiration and work together on the important mobility challenges.

In the future, the network will organise themed days about logistics transport and employee transport. The specific needs of all of the companies will be covered and there will be collaboration on the mobility of tomorrow.

Bicycle ambassadors

The conference closed with the presentation of the 5 selected bicycle ambassadors.

Mobility market

Flemish Minister for Mobility and Public Works, Ben Weyts opened the mobility market, where various suppliers proposed tangible mobility solutions. Find out about the mobility providers here .
