F202 Bicycle highway Woluwdal

The ‘Werken aan de Ring’ programme aims to provide better cycling infrastructure. We are building safe bicycle paths and comfortable bicycle bridges and tunnels. They will enable you to cycle quickly and smoothly along and across the Ring. This is how we plan to offer road users a worthy alternative to the car and to gradually reduce the number of cars on the Ring. The construction of the F202 bicycle highway is part of this ambition.

Safe, smooth and comfortable cycling between Zaventem and Kraainem

The F202 bicycle highway connects Zaventem with Kraainem and Sint-Stevens-Woluwe. Construction of the bicycle highway along the eastern side of Woluwedal (R22), which connects Zaventem with the Kraainem region, has been completed within the ‘Werken aan de Ring’ programme,

• There is now a bicycle tunnel that allows cyclists to cross the Leuvensesteenweg quickly and safely.
• The section of the bicycle highway runs alongside the stream, where possible.
• The bicycle highway connects to the F203 towards the Brussels Capital Region and the HST bicycle route.
