Ring trambus
Works on the Vlierkensstraat form part of the construction of the route for the Ring trambus and follow on from the work on the Heldenplein.
Vlierkens stop
This stop will be an important link where various cycle routes and bus lines come together in the direction of Grimbergen and Strombeek-Bever. We will ensure a safe crossing for slow traffic over the Rubensstraat and optimisation of access to the Drie Fonteinen park.
Kassei ‘Hop-in’ point
In addition to the various bicycle highways in the area and the planned reconstruction of the Heldenplein, the next step is the construction of a brand new Hop-in point near the ‘Vilvoorde Vlierkens’ bus stop.
With the construction of the Kassei Hoppin point, Werken aan de Ring is enabling you, as a resident, to move around and through the city with ease, and to do so in whichever manner you choose.
