Public consultation: the project initiation documentation

30/05/2018

On 18 May 2018, the Flemish Government approved the project initiation documentation (startnota and procesnota) for the regional spatial implementation plan ‘Spatial Redesign of Brussels Ring Road - Northern Section' ('Ruimtelijke herinrichting Ring rond Brussel- deel Noord’). In doing so, the Flemish Government has committed to drafting a plan for changing land use and adjusting zoning regulations for the spatial redesign of the Brussels Ring Road between and including the Groot-Bijgaarden and Sint-Stevens-Woluwe interchanges, in order to make a safer ring road and a better working and living environment around the ring road.

The Flemish Government will only take an initial decision on the plan after a public consultation period about the intentions of the plan. The consultation period is from 1 June up to and including 30 July 2018.

The public are invited to give their response to the project initiation documentation. Everyone can take part.
