Study

The ‘Werken aan de Ring’ programme aims to provide better cycling infrastructure. We are building safe bicycle paths and comfortable bicycle bridges and tunnels. They will enable you to cycle quickly and smoothly along and across the Ring. In this way we can offer road users a proper alternative to the car and gradually reduce the number of cars on the Ring. The construction of the F207 bicycle highway is part of this ambition.

Cycling along the railway line to Brussels

Infrabel, Tucrail and de Werkvennootschap are widening the Brussels-Waterloo railway line from 2 to 4 tracks as part of the Regional Express Network (REN). A study is looking into the possibilities of constructing the F207 bicycle highway at the same time as the railway line. The Government of Flanders is currently drawing up a Regional Spatial Implementation Plan (GRUP), of which the F207 is a part.
